Assumption of Risk — Vehicle Activities: I understand that vehicle tours and rentals may operate on rugged, uneven, and unpredictable terrain and public or off-road routes, and that participation carries inherent risks including but not limited to vehicle rollover, collision, mechanical failure, and injury from sudden stops or rough terrain.
Assumption of Risk — Watercraft Activities: I understand that watercraft activities carry inherent risks including but not limited to drowning, collision, capsizing, hypothermia, changing weather and water conditions, and injury from waves, wakes, or submerged objects.
Safety Requirements: I agree to wear my seatbelt (and helmet where provided) at all times in vehicles, to wear a properly fitted life jacket (PFD) at all times on the water, to remain within designated areas and routes, and to follow all posted rules and all instructions given by White Crown Tours staff.
Self-Operation: If I am operating a vehicle or watercraft myself, I certify that I hold a valid driver’s licence or applicable operator certification, that I am legally permitted and physically able to operate it, and I agree to obey all traffic laws, speed limits, waterway regulations, and boundaries set by White Crown Tours, to operate only in permitted areas, not to operate under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance, and not to allow any person not named on this waiver and approved by White Crown Tours to operate it.
Guided Tours: When a White Crown Tours guide or driver is operating, I understand that the guide has final authority over the conduct of the tour, including route, speed, stops, and the decision to modify or end the tour due to weather, safety, or participant behaviour. I agree to remain seated while in motion, keep hands and limbs inside the vehicle, not distract or interfere with the guide or driver, and board or disembark only when instructed. I understand that unsafe behaviour or failure to follow instructions may result in removal from the tour without refund.
Responsibility for Damage: I accept full financial responsibility for any loss of, or damage to, White Crown Tours vehicles, watercraft, equipment, or property caused by my actions, misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions, including damage caused by any minor I am signing for. I agree to pay the reasonable cost of repair or replacement, as assessed by White Crown Tours, upon demand, together with any fines or penalties incurred as a result of my conduct.
Liability Release: In consideration of being permitted to participate, I release White Crown Tours, its owners, employees, and agents from all liability for injury, death, or property damage arising from ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Medical Acknowledgement: I confirm I have no medical condition that would make participation unsafe (and, for watercraft activities, that I can swim), and I authorize White Crown Tours to arrange emergency medical treatment at my expense if required.
